About This Item
The Alpine Fine Arts Collection, Ltd.. First American Edition. Hardcover. Very Good-/Very Good-. Navy blue lettering on the spine. There is a crack at the inner spine stitching in the center of the book which seems to be a maker's flaw as other copies are also so described. Otherwise the interior pages are fresh and clean as new and the binding is tight with no loosening of any pages. Dust jacket is protected in Brodart, has a couple of closed tears along the top of the spine. A very good copy of this profusely illustrated book with 180 examples of Vasarely's works, 64 of them are very good 8-colour reproductions, from his early graphics to polychrome paintings to massive architectonic constructions. One double fold-out page. Translated from the French by I. Mark Paris.
