First American printing, very good + hardcover showing previous owner marks at front paste down, tiny spot stain at fore edge of a few pages at rear, and light bit of rubbing at cover edges, in very good + jacket (price sticker at front flap) showing a closed tear at bottom edge of front panel and light rubbing. 182 pages nicely illustrated. Pretty nice copy of this work from one of England's premier garden writers.
