Trilingual edition, with three columns of text (in English, French, and Bislama). A collection of writings celebrating the island's independence initiated at the request of Lin̄i, Melanesian socialist and the first prime minister. Written mostly by Ni-Vanuatu authors who cover culture, politics, economics, history, and numerous other topics about the nascent nation.
