Chicago and New York: Belford, Clarke & Company, 1885. Undated, ca. 1885-1890ish. Illustrated with black and white plates drawn by the author. Attractively bound in warm brown cloth with lettering and attractive spine decoration in gilt, floral embossed pattern on covers, about 7.5 inches tall. Very good condition with a shallow fabric crease to the rear cover (likely to have occurred during the binding process), light rubbing to the corners and spine ends, good hinges, firm text block, lightly age-toned but very clean pages, no names or other markings. . Hard Cover. Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
