About This Item
Hardcover book without a dust jacket. Overall condition of book is poor to fair. Hardcover has had excessive wear, particularly the bottom area of the spine (see photos). Name of book appeared on spine, now unable to read title of book on spine. Inside of front cover is name of previous owner, a Jeanne Penrod of Lakeside, AZ, April 1946.
Ironically, the inside pages of the book are in good condition, slight discoloration of pages. Book remains very readable. The binding is also in good condition.

On May 18 2021, a reader said:
I received this book as a gift for my 18th birthday in 1955. The title, age and not liking to read, I filed it. When I did pick it up in n my 30's and read it it became one of my favorite reads.
