NY: Macmillan Company, 1942. First Edition . Hardcover. Near Fine/Very Good. First US edition, near fine in a very good dust jacket. The lower front corner is slightly bumped. The jacket has slight loss at spine ends and corners, and some general rubbing. The jacket portrays a Nazi soldier with a swastika armband and rifle standing near the Arc d'Triomphe in Paris, and the novel is about the German occupation of Paris. $2.50 price present at bottom of front flap; no names or other markings in the book. A tight, square copy.
