From the library of poet/academic William Matchett with his signature to the ffep, noting that he received this copy from Alison Lurie, October 1975 (Matchett and Lurie were great friends going back to their time together at the Poet's Theatre in Cambridge) 297pp. with illustrations from Edward Gorey (another friend of Lurie's) Laid in is a card from the reception and publication event in honor of Lurie held at the Gotham Book Mart, November 10, 1975. Foxing along the top and fore-edges, else a Very Good copy in a Very Good jacket with just a touch of edgewear. // features a 71 page memoir by Allison Laurie, followed by Lang's poems and two plays produced at the Poets' Theatre, Fire Exit and I Too Have Lived in Arcadia.
