Berkeley, CA: Published by the Officers & Crew, 1949. 1st. Hardcover. Oblong 8vo. 47pp. Black & white photo-reproductions & illustrations. Gilt decorated blue cloth. Staplebound text block mostly separated from cover else a near fine copy with only minor wear to extremities. The U.S.S. Toledo CA-133 was a Baltimore-class heavy cruiser of the United States Navy active during the Korean War. During the summer of 1949, the Toledo was taken on two cruises (June 16 to July 27 and August 2 to September 13) comprising the 1949 Senior-Sophomore NROTC Summer Cruises under the command of Captain R.E. Arison and Executive Officer J. D. Andrew. The many photos show the officers & crew, life at sea, onboard sports & entertainment, ports visited, including Panama, San Francisco, Balboa, & Long Beach. All domestic orders are fully trackable - Images available upon request.
