Washington DC: Government Printing Office, 1885. Hardcover. Very Good. Hardcover. These worms were of particular interest as they caused much damage to crops, especially cotton. With two fold out maps and 64 plates of which 6 are chromolithographs. Bound in the original dark brown cloth boards with gilt title to spine. Spine has faded to a lighter brown and gilt title now appears black. Rubbing, chipping, and spotting to book cloth with wear to edges and corners. Spots of foxing to first and last few pages, but clean overall. Creasing to a few corners. 399 pages, plates, 147 pages of appendices. NAT/082522.
