These records herein deal primarily with the Revolutionary War in the Upper Country of South Carolina and Dr. Logan lists among other things members of various Revolutionary Regiments, leaders and officers in the Revolution; detailed descriptions of skirmishes and battles, etc. Also he gives histories of a number of families in this Upper part of South Carolina, which having been written during the Revolution, carry families back to the 1700's. A new complete full-name index has been prepared for this edition.
