About This Item

Owen Sound, Ontario: Thomson Books. Very Good. 1997. Softcover. 0929021312 . 78 p. 17.5 cm. Sound and square binding in cardstock covers. Rubbed along the edges and both covers lightly scratched. Inside pages are clean and unmarked. Appears lightly, if ever, read. A fictional story to tie-in to the author-curator's exhibit at the Tom Thomson Memorial Art Gallery in Owen Sound, where he assembled a cast of props and artwork (or relics, perhaps) to support his exploration of the intersection of his own life story — in art, hockey and Canadiana — with two mythic deaths, that of painter Tom Thomson and Maple Leaf hockey player Bill Barilko. (from John Armstrong Canada site). .
