Leavenworth, [KS]: P. H. Tiernan, 1867. First Edition . Soft cover. Good/No Jacket. 17 pages, bound in salmon colored paper wrap covers. Contains the first publication of the famous West Point associated song, "Benny Havens O!" (pages 8-11), along with the author's sons description of the inn that was nearby West Point, though "just beyond the limits of United States jurisdiction." Paper wrap cover, with ruled border around title page information shows some foxing, and a one inch split along the spine from its foot. Top outside corner is bumped and there is a small crease and fold across the very outside corner of all leaves. Booklet remains tight and is otherwise very clean.
