Remarkably scarce book by conservative author and commentator William F. Buckley, Jr. about the 1965 New York City mayoral race. Buckley himself entered the race which was eventually won by John Lindsay. This work, in addition to providing a chronicle of the campaign, explores the strenghts and weaknesses of political aprties and movements of that time, addresses the multitude of ills faced by New York and other major cities, etc.
