Illustrated green coloured boards with gilt coloured titles and illustration to the front panel and back strip. On the high seas with Sir Francis Drake, plundering the Spanish Main. This book has been sympathetically rebound. The cloth of the boards, along with the illustrations, had become rubbed faded and marked -- please see photograph. Browning to the text block edges with age toning, foxing and marks to the pages. Softening to the back strip edges and book corners. Previous owners details to the page following the half title page, dated 27/2/85. Size: 12mo (standard paperback).
