A very nice first edition of Evelyn Waugh"s conclusion to his "Sword of Honour" trilogy, here in the original unclipped dustwrapper. The first edition of this work. In the original unclipped dustwrapper. "Unconditional Surrender" is Waugh"s third novel in his "Sword of Honour" series, which loosely follow his own experiences during World War Two. Evelyn Waugh was a noted English author of the twentieth century, best known for his novel "Brideshead Revisited" and "A Handful of Dust". In the original publisher"s cloth binding, in the original unclipped dustwrapper. Externally, fine. Very light bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Prior owner"s ink inscription to the recto to the front endpaper. Dustwrapper with a little fading to the spine, and some minor marks and discolouration to the rear wrap and to the reverse. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Fine
