Boston: Houghton Mifflin Company, 1970. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. Very Good in a Very Good jacket, unclipped ($4.95), faded and lightly rubbed, black ink call numbers at the foot of the spine, stamped "Public Library System Milwaukee" on the back panel. Black cloth, lightly rubbed, with dulled gilt lettering on the spine. Square and firmly bound, clean internally. A nicely preserved and minimally marked ex-library copy of the early memoir from the first Black woman elected to Congress.
