About This Item
New York: HarperCollins Publishers, 2002. First edition, first printing. Hardcover. vg. Octavo. XVII, [5], 212, [6]pp. Original printed dust-jacket over pictorial paper covered boards. Introduction page with Snicket's blind-stamped. Fascinating work relating to the author Lemony Snicket (a.k.a. Daniel Handler, who wrote the book's introduction as himself) and his series of books, A Series of Unfortunate Events. Although it is labeled "Unauthorized" for humor, the book is in fact official and considered a supplementary material for the series. The plot is portrayed in an epistolary style through documents, letters, and other scripts. Dust-jacket, binding and interior as new.
