About This Item
San Diego, California: Thunder Bay Press, 2000. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. A renewed interest in the historic folk buildings of North America has made us see old barns with new eyes, even as many of the structures vanish from the landscape. With spectacular full-color photographs, this work is a pictorial essay into the history of these buildings that were once the focus of the family farm when agriculture was a way of life for most people. 256 pages, printed on high quality paper. Volume itself has black covers with sharp white lettering on the spine. There is some edgewear and wear to the head and tail of the spine of the book. Dust jacket is protected in an archival quality Brodart cover. There is a small (Approx. 1/2" tear) at the top of the spine of the dj and some edge wear. All in all, a quite nice copy of an oversized, rather heavy work that could require extra shipping if a order outside the United States were to be received.
