New York: The Macmillan Company, 1940. 1st Edition 1st Printing stated. Hardcover. Good +. Maps, drawings, photos. Stiff and whistle-clean inside. Spine has sunning but the silver lettering remains. Tanning along the interior hinges, wonderful drawing on the endpapers. rear hinge starting to be exposed but still strong. Slight humidity caused waving of early pages. Very nice book Though I have been critical. History of the earliest known explorer, Thule. The great Age of Exploration.
