Volume 1 and Volume 2. These two volumes cover the career histories of all of the U-boats that were commissioned in World War II. The histories of home 1, 200 vessels are covered. Each entry gives locations and dates of units which with the boat served, her commanders, the number of patrols undertaken, ships sunk along with names of vessels and location, incidents of note, refueling by U-tankers and supply ships, attacks on shipping, survivors picked up, and finally, the ultimate fate.


Volume 1: Career Histories, U1-U510. Naval Institute Press; Annapolis, Md.; 1st US edition; vi, 362 p.; Includes bibliographical references and indexes. This volume remains in an excellent condition with slight creasing to the top of the spine, a price sticker on the back flap of the dust jacket, and some pencil notes of interest on the front page. Heavy extra postage at cost. Heavy requires more postage.


Volume 2: Career Histories, U511-UIT25. Naval Institute Press; Annapolis, Md.; 1st US edition; vi, 312 p.; Includes bibliographical references and indexes. This volume is in an very good condition with some creasing to the top and bottom of the spine as well as some pencil notes of interest on the front page. Heavy extra postage at cost. Heavy requires more postage.
