1926. Two painted original illustrations by Wallis Hall Sturtevant for Louise Lamprey's book Days of the Builders published by Stokes in 1926 The first illustration is of the construction of the Panama Canal and is titled "Warren took Dick to see the steam-shovels at work" and the other is a World War I theme titled "That's right: the street is full of Boches" Both images are about 13" x 10" and are in 23" x 19" frames Lamprey was a Maine author while Sturtevant was a Massachusetts artist born in 1897.
