Illustrated with thirty-six black and white photographs and six maps. One foldout map, 10 x 8 in., of Karakoram Mountains ("Sketch Map to Illustrate the Whole Story"). Light blue cloth boards with gilt title to spine. Very light rubbing to extremities. Light rubbing and two 1/2 in closed tears to edges of dustjacket. Protected with mylar. Famous mountaineer H.W. Tilman's tells his climbing and cultural adventures throughout the Karakoram Range in the Himalayas of northern Pakistan.
