London: Secker & Warburg, 1984. First Edition . Hardcover. Very Good+/Very Good. Inscribed by author (1904-1989) "For John McCormick, my virile Scottish colleague. From his aged friend, Percy Hoskins." 221 pages. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Rust-coloured boards with gilt lettering on spine. Free of tears, the DJ show some wear at edges and corners, sunning at upper edge and with a minor crease of the glossy wrap at spine (probably due to manufacturing error.)
