New York: Charles Scribner’s Sons, 1929. 4to. 169, [1] pp. Frontisp., numerous plates. Brown cloth, illustrated & lettered in white & black (slight shelfwear, rubbing to corners), w/ d.j. (minor chipping head & foot of spine, wear to corners, minor scuffing), still VG/VG- copy, w/ tipped-in Christmas Card on ffep. Later printing of this later printing of the author’s nostalgic Lost Cause novel about the adventures of two 10 year old boys’ adventures in Virginia during the Civil War, and a fair amount of southern Black dialect.
