This is a Very Good (Plus) copy of the Second Edition [stated], a selection of papers by six authors. Dark green cloth binding, ruled on the covers; titling in gilt on the spine. Clean text; xxxii, 528 pages; indexed. Introduction by the Right Honourable James Bryce (1838-1918), a Northern ireland historian and politician; at the time of this publication he was Ambassador to the United States. Textblock very bright and clear; tiny bit of rub to head of the spine; some tiny scuffs on the rear cover. A very solid and attractive copy.. Second Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good (Plus)/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
