Good. Striking "Tree calf" full leather covers front and rear. Good on the outside, very good inside, Ext. rubbing and edgewear. Clean, bright pages. All edges gilt. 61 pages, 50 illustrations;. No reader's marks except September 1884 inscription and later mother to daughter inscription on FFEP. Front cover detached. Chipping to spine. Three (of four) raised bands and red titling panel remain. Chips, edgewear. Gilt still bright.
