From Matisse to Chagall and beyond, this unique art book provides full color plates of the Masters along with explanatory notes about the work of each artist. 9 5/8" x 12 1/8" (may require additional postage), 191 pages, including index, 244 full color photos of the paintings, with no dust jacket. Per Worldcat, photos are copyright 1969, but book could be either 1969 or 1971. HARD TO FIND in this condition since book has never been reprinted since the early 70's. Overall book is NEAR FINE. Pages = Fine: slightly dulled, yet clear colors, tight, sharp, no marks. Cover (charcoal cloth boards with silver gilt design and particulars) = Very Good: moderate rubbing to front and back, corners and spine still sharp, tight, square.
