Twelve nineteenth-century pamphlets on various subjects, mainly religious.

Bound together in contemporary half calf, marbled boards, spine divided by gilt rules, red morocco label (’Pamphlets’) and gilt numbering direct (’LXIX’). Variable spotting and soiling, the plates in the second pamphlet loosening. Binding rubbed and worn, spine chipped at ends, front joint nearly split. Manuscript table of contents to front flyleaf. A bound volume of mostly rare miscellaneous pamphlets mostly from the middle of the 19th century, mostly religious or improving, and mostly Scottish - though each of these with unusual exceptions - four of them unrecorded, and at least two of them presentation copies.
