About This Item

Little, Brown, 1979. First Thus. Paper Back. Good. First paperback edition, issued simultaneously with the hard cover. Small 8vo in plain white printed wraps. The covers are somewhat soiled, and there are some scratches on the front cover. There is a small stain on the top edge that bleeds onto the pages by not more than a cm. The ffep is entirely occuped by a p.o. inscription that begins 'Mary's favorite poet - James Wright / Mary: / Close your eyes and / keep writing!' There are more lines, musing about writing. Oliver inscribed and signed on the half title.
