Red title label to spine with gilt lettering, rules, design. Copy # 270 of 401 designed by William Kittredge , printed at the Lakeside press in Chicago, and SIGNED by the Author. This copy is FINE in a VG cardboard slipcase with title label to the spine. TEG. Uncut pages. Book is pristine inside and out with only a modicum of toning to the Front gutter. Illustrated. Color frontispiece with tissue guard. Foreword by Henry Goodwin Vaughan. Slipcase is moderately/ modestly rubbed around the edges, one small chip to title label, and sunned around the edges where adjoining books did not cover. .
