About This Item
El Dorado, Kansas: Butler County Historical Society, 1981. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Very Good/None. Signed on the ffep by the author, Lawrence P. Klintworth; not personalized to anyone. The reason for the condition downgrade is that the Butler County Historical Society chose to place their stamp inside the front cover and on the title page, on page 7, and on the last page. 228 pages. It is my understanding that the author is now deceased. This is the third volume in "The Kingdom of Butler" series. It consists of anecdotes, light-hearted incidents, all of which are stated to be true and hopefully entertaining. Book itself has light gold covers with Black lettering on the spine and front cover. A library number of 978.1K(in white) is at the bottom of the spine. No other usual library markings and pockets are present. Book itself is housed in an archival quality cover. High quality paper. A respectable copy with a hard to find signature. The book appears never read.
