Published by the Author. Poor with no dust jacket. 1882. Hardcover. Signed and inscribed by author on front endpaper. Hard cover published by the author in 1882. Green covers with black lettering and drawing on front and gilt lettering on spine. No DJ. Spine is cocked. Corners of covers are bumped and worn. Front cover has three ink marks on left side and some wrinkling at top. Back cover has a large ring of wrinkling, and both covers have scuffing, stains and edge wear. Previous owner's name is written inside front cover. Front endpaper has a copy of the author's signature that looks like some one tried to imitate it. The tissue paper covering the author's drawing has ink writing where someone traced over the author's signature. Back endpaper is missing, and binding is split before back cover. Some pages have foxing or age spots. Inside covers and front endpaper have some stains. ; Signed by Author .
