Very Good in original embossed decorative cloth, gilt lettering and rules at spine, corners bumped, light rubbing to cloth at spine ends, publisher's ad for this book tipped in at rear end page. v-xv, 255 pp., 4 fold-out charts, numerous plates and diagrams. Hinrichs, although not as widely acknowledged as Mendeleev or Lothar Meyer, is one of the discoverers of the periodic laws which are the basis for the periodic table of elements..
