Bright and clean pages with light tanning to text block edges. Binding is firm throughout with minor thumb-marking. Notable tanning due to newspaper clipping. Previous owner's pen inscription to front endpaper, with a price in pencil. Mild droplet and foxing to upper text block edge. Boards have light edge wear with minor corner bumping. Mild crushing to spine, with occasional markings overall. Mild sunning to spine. Very slight bowing to boards. Gilt is bright. Unclipped jacket has light edgewear with tears and creasing. Faint foxing present. Mild tanning to spine and to panel edges. Notable rubbing and marking all over, more pronounced to rear panel with slight stains and thumb marks.
