About This Item
Tokyo, Japan: Keimeisha, 1953. No date circa 1953. English language edition published in Tokyo by Keimeisha publishers. Often considered to be piracies, these were in fact authorized editions although not to be for sale outside of Japan. Published in a small printing, perhaps 1,000 copies, a full 8 years before the first authorized American publication by Grove Press. Original red buckram with green lettering to cover and spine, publishers slip tipped in at rear. A clean and very good copy. In the very scarce dust jacket with chipping at spine ends not affecting the title and tape repaired flap folds on the reverse. Quite scarce in any jacket. . Hard Cover. Very Good/Good. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
