Book #4 in the popular girl's series published 1948-1986, one of the original six books by Julie Campbell before the series was taken over by the syndicate under the pen name "Kathryn Kenny." This is part of the fifth edition of the series published by Whitman beginning in 1970, affectionately know as "the uglies'' on the basis of their cover art by Larry Frederick. With decorative paper over boards, in 236 pages, endpapers depicting Trixie & 5 of her pals. Condition is Good- (minus): generally very clean, cover colors bright, pages tanned, heavier around edges (commensurate with age & paper quality) colors bright, no fading. Front hinge is cracked, rubbing to extremities, heavy at both ends of spine paper split along upper spine. Paper residue from old price sticker to upper-outer corner of front cover.
