London: Faber & Faber Limited, 1931. "The Ariel Poems" began in 1927 as a promotion by Faber to celebrate the Christmas season. This is Number 35 in the series, a Near Fine copy. Oddly, this does not appear in Eliot's Collected Poems. Softcover, bound in light gray sewn wraps; four pages. Cover illustration in black by the American artist E. McKnight Kauffer (1890-1954). The cover illustration is recreated within, printed in tan, black, and gray. Hints only of darkening at the margins; else a Fine copy.. First Edition. Soft Cover. Near Fine/No Jacket. Illus. by E. McKnight Kauffer. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
