Inscribed "To Elizabeth / with / best wishes, and / gratitude / Mathis Guenther". Elizabeth, being Elizabeth Marshall, of the Lorna and Laurence Marshall family of anthropologists. From the personal collection of Lorna Marshall (1898-2002], a well known anthropologist that lived among the !Kung people of the Kalahari Desert, and author of several books based on her studies. Slight edge curl to the covers, spotting on the fore-edge.
