Octavo, 256 pages; G+/G; spine brown, with gray label and faded yellow lettering; dust jacket protected with a mylar covering, price uncut '$2.50'; some shelf wear and soiling; multiple small closed tears at lower edge of jacket front; two-inch closed tear at upper edge of jacket front; medium chip missing at upper left corner of jacket front; crown and tail of jacket spine missing; two small chips missing at center of jacket spine; spine significantly faded; back jacket joint almost entirely split; two small chips missing at lower edge of jacket back; inch-long closed tear at upper edge of jacket back; small chip missing at upper edge of jacket back; spine markedly cocked; upper edge of textblock dyed maroon; binding shaken; pages clean; previous owner's pencil notes at back free endpaper;
The Dedication copy, dedicated to Maclin Geurard, inscribed by Lewis at front free endpaper to Maclin and Albert,
