About This Item
Norman, Oklahoma: University of Oklahoma Press, 1966. 1st Edition 1st Printing. Hardcover. Fine/Near Fine. This is a first print copy in fine condition and in a near fine dustjacket. This copy is signed by the author, Douglas Jones on the half title page--without any inscriptions. Tight and clean copy--flawless- unread--in gift quality condition. The dustjacket is price clipped and shows only minimal edgewear to the head and heel of the spine and some minor rubbing to the rear panel--or would also be fine. This is a scarce title--and especially signed. A meticulous study of what transpired during the summer of 1867 and how the treaty changed the American landscape.
