London: Charles Knight & Co. Ltd., 1839. 749 pages in good, clean condition. Some stains on the fore-edge. Top edge gilt. With approximately 300 illustrations. Includes the double page plan of ancient Jerusalem and a colour print pattern. Missing the Parsonage at Ovingham. Marbled endpapers. Previous owner's bookplate on the fep. Half bound with black leather over marbled boards. Four raised bands and gilt titles on the spine. Spine is scuffed and rubbed; one inch tear at the head. Corners bumped and a little frayed. Boards scuffed and scratched. Binding good. GOOD. First Edition. Half Bound. Good. 7 x 10 1/2.
