Scranton: The Colliery Engineer Co.. Good with no dust jacket. 1899. Hardcover. Vii, 351, xvi pp. 3/4 leather with pebbled brown shagreen cloth boards. Bright gilt to spine. Leather is scuffed and worn at extremities, spine head and tail chipped and worn, leather lifting at bottom quarter. Interior original bright marble end papers with bindery reinforced binding, strong and sturdy . One page in the introduction has a clean vertical tear in the margin, paper a bit toned, but otherwise clean and nice. Scarce. Vol. I only, part of a series for distance learning the new techniques of refrigeration! ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 351 pages .
