Publishers Grosset & Dunlap. No dust jacket. No date listed in book. Lime green boards with orange printing. Boards are in good condition. There is moderate wear at the top and bottom of the spine; both are bumped. The spine has faded in color. Top book ends are bumped. End pages are lime green with a picture of a sailing ship. There is a color illustration right after the first end page. Pages are clean, (slightly tanned) not torn, and the corners are not folded. The spine is not damaged and there are no loose pages. There is no writing anywhere in the book and no name in the front. Comes from a nonsmoking collection. Shipped in a clean box with tracking confirmation. A very nice copy.
Synopsis
Treasure Island is an adventure novel by Robert Louis Stevenson, narrating a tale of "pirates and buried gold". First published as a book in 1883, it was originally serialised in the children's magazine Young Folks between 1881-82 under the title The Sea Cook, or Treasure Island.
