Travels in France and the British Islands by M. Floyd - 1859

Hardcover, original brown stamped cloth boards show scuffing and spotting along with edge and corner bumps/wear. The spine shows fading in the rear board has a scuff mark near the top center portion which is also stained and there is a small tear at the upper right corner. The interior is in much better condition: there are no hinge issues, no signatures or bookplates, no library markings, nothing torn or loose. The only evidence of handwriting is on the second front end page where you can barely see where an old price was once penciled and then later erased, no other handwriting found. Pages are toned due to age and there is scattered foxing and spotting, though nothing severe.
