Clean second printing of the first edition in attractive original unclipped dust jacket. Very clean unfaded green cloth boards with gold lettering on cover and spine. No bumping or fraying. Binding is tight and square, hinges are sound - no cracking. Pages and edges are clean. Some browning to endpapers from jacket, but they are blank with no names, writing or marks. Illustrated with photographs. 346 pages with index. Clean dust jacket is not price clipped (18s net on front inside flap), has shallow chipping at top spine edge (1/4") and a few short closed edge tears. Enclosed in new archival quality removable mylar cover. A beautifully written autobiography that will have you turning the pages, by an incredible woman who was a consummate traveller..
