John Sharpe, 1822. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1822. No Edition Stated. 154 pages. Brown leather; spine has been rebacked partly using the original spine. Illustrated by Richard Westall. Marbled endpapers. Pages have slight foxing, tanning and minor thumbing. Foxing more noticeable towards the start and end of the book and on text block edges. A few dog-eared corners. Slight water staining to few pages. Ex libris plate to front pastedown. Previous owner's inscription to front endpaper and title page. Boards have heavy edge wear, with intense bumping and fraying to corners, while spine ends are very crushed and peeled. Joints worn too with splits. Scratched, rubbed and marked overall. Heavy liquid stains overall. Slight pale stains to front. Spine and surrounding area very darkened.
