Illustrated by Zier, Edouard. 327pp. Red cloth stamped in black, brown and gold on the front panel and the spine panel, and in black on the rear panel. All edges gilt, gray/blue endpapers. Illustrated with fifty-three b&w gravures, some of which are full page. The story of two orphans during the siege of Paris of 1870. Some scattered foxing throughout, hinges a bit weak. A near fine copy. A nice example of sumptuous period bindings by Hachette. Text in French. ; Large Octavo.
