Louis Cotte (1740-1815) was a French priest and meteorologist who spent decards observing and recording meteorological events. xxxvi, 635 pp. 4to. 14 Plates. This volume has been rebound with a pastepaper cover and vellum spine with gold embossed patch title. Text block edges trimmed when rebound. Very clean and tight within. 14 plates at rear illustrate text. Text in French.
