George Elmore Reaman's 1957 novel primarily details the history of the Pennsylvania Germans and local communities in their roles in the settlement of Ontario. This novel records a plethora of contributing and surrounding communities, giving justice to the hard work foundational to Ontario as we know it today. Foreword by Thomas B. Costain, a Nod from Pennsylvania by Arthur D. Graeff, and a preface by the author. 1957
