Kyoto: Tanaka Nao Senryōten, 1975. Limited edition. Loose plates. Fine. Portfolio containing 150 samples of Japanese weaving mounted onto think handmade paper and with the names of the weaves and weavers. The samples are arranged by locale, from Kyushu to Okinawa, ten areas in all. In fine condition. The protective portfolio is doubled, with the inner section covered in cream cloth, and the outer in deep blue cloth.
One of 750 numbered copies. In original shipping containers.
This is the volume containing samples to an accompanying text, not here present. In Japanese, but there is a computer printout listing the mounted samples in English.
